Job Description

The JCC of Greater Baltimore is hiring a part-time Pickleball Coordinator to deliver high-quality pickleball instruction and programming at both of its locations. Working with the Senior Director of Fitness, the Coordinator leads lessons, leagues, tournaments, and other pickleball programs, and helps grow the program's quality, consistency, and participation.

Responsibilities: • Teach pickleball classes, private lessons, and clinics for youth, teens, and adults • Plan, organize, and run pickleball leagues and tournaments • Help develop program policies, goals, evaluation processes, and marketing materials with the Senior Director of Fitness • Maintain a safe, well-stocked equipment inventory • Keep accurate records of attendance, waivers, registrations, and league standings • Communicate promptly and professionally with participants about lessons, schedules, and feedback

Qualifications: • At least one year of experience teaching pickleball to groups of 4-8 or more, across classes, private lessons, clinics, and workshops • Pickleball certification or training preferred; experience teaching adults strongly preferred • Able to adapt instruction to different skill levels and train additional staff if needed • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills • Available evenings, weekends, and holidays as programs require; able to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation: $20/hour for drop-in play and $50/hour for instruction. Perks include a complimentary JCC membership and program discounts.
