About J Leaders

J Leaders is a fast-growing national nonprofit on a mission to empower Jewish young adults (ages 22–35) to become ethical, skilled leaders who strengthen Jewish communities locally and nationally. The Role

JLeaders is seeking a creative, organized, and hands-on Social Media Marketing Intern to support the growth and visibility of our programs and initiatives online. This role is ideal for someone who can take ideas, program strategies, and event goals and transform them into engaging social media content, graphics, and campaigns.

What You'll Do

Design social media graphics, flyers, stories, reels, and promotional materials for JLeaders programs and events Write engaging captions, announcements, and social media copy aligned with the JLeaders mission and voice Turn organizational strategies and program information into actionable social media campaigns Create and maintain content calendars for upcoming initiatives and events Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn Help increase program participation and audience engagement through creative digital outreach Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual presentation Stay informed on social media trends relevant to nonprofit and community audiences

What We're Looking For

Interest in social media marketing, communications, nonprofit work, leadership development, or graphic design Experience using major social media platforms Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Basic photography or video editing experience is a plus Passion for community engagement and mission-driven work preferred
