Temple Emanuel Religious School (TERS) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Hebrew and Jewish Studies teachers to join the team for the 2026-2027 school year. The first day of Religious School is Sunday, September 27, with a Back-to-School festival.
At TERS, Jewish learning is brought to life through the core values of Limmud (Learning), Kehillah (Community), Ruach (Spirit), and Hachalah (Inclusion). Teachers work alongside engaged clergy, an Israeli shaliach, and teen madrichim to create meaningful, joyful experiences for students.
Located in Kensington, Maryland, Temple Emanuel is a vibrant Reform congregation that welcomes and celebrates people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.
Schedule: Sunday positions available in both Hebrew and Jewish Studies, 9:00 AM-12:15 PM.
