Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager manages and executes strategic marketing, communications, and account management efforts aimed at strengthening community engagement and advancing the Federation's mission.
You will hold primary ownership over a designated portfolio of internal departments — NextGen, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), Women of Vision (WOV), and Jewish Federation Real Estate (JFRE) — the groups that engage young professionals, community advocates, philanthropic women leaders, and real estate professionals. Operating with autonomy for routine decisions within your portfolio, you serve as a key strategic partner to internal stakeholders and supervise the Marketing Coordinator.
Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary marketing and communications liaison for assigned departments, cultivating stakeholder relationships that drive engagement and donor cultivation • Lead project oversight for portfolio initiatives, making independent operational decisions and escalating complex matters appropriately • Generate content strategies and execute copy across programmatic, campaign, print, and digital needs, including feature stories and impact narratives • Directly supervise the Marketing Coordinator, managing workload distribution in a mission-driven, collaborative environment • Handle email communications, website updates, and social media content for portfolio departments • Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance and campaign effectiveness, tracking key metrics to optimize strategy • Manage campaign budgets and track expenses aligned with strategic priorities
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred • 3–5 years of marketing/communications experience with account management expertise • Cross-functional team leadership experience and prior experience supervising direct reports • Content strategy and copywriting proficiency with strong writing skills and AP style knowledge • Proficiency in analytics platforms and CRM/email systems
Salary: $60,000 to $75,000.
