Job Description

The Joint (JDC), the world's leading Jewish humanitarian assistance organization, seeks a strategic and experienced International Missions Coordinator to manage and oversee JDC's global mission programs within the Global Encounters team. Each mission is custom-built for a specific donor, foundation, lay leader, or strategic partner — no two visits are alike — and the role translates donor psychology and cultivation strategy into compelling, purpose-driven experiences.

Responsibilities: • Partner with US-based fundraising colleagues to understand donor profiles, motivations, and cultivation goals, and design fully customized missions • Lead end-to-end planning across headquarters, the U.S. office, and international field teams • Design clear narrative arcs for each visit, and prepare beneficiaries, field professionals, and senior leaders to communicate with confidence • Ensure ethical, dignified, and accurate representation of beneficiary stories • Develop comprehensive run-of-show documents and itineraries, and oversee travel, venues, materials, security considerations, and contingency planning • Develop and manage mission budgets, forecast costs, and monitor expenditures

Qualifications: • 7-10+ years of relevant experience in international development, fundraising, mission planning, and complex cross-border project leadership • Demonstrated ability to lead processes involving executives, donors, and global partners • Experience designing structured programs or experiential learning journeys end to end • Full professional fluency in English and Hebrew required; additional languages a strong advantage • Bachelor's degree required; valid driver's license and ability to drive required • Willingness to travel internationally
