Job Description

BBYO, the world's leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement, seeks a full-time Associate Regional Director for BBYO Greater Vancouver — a region whose impact area spans all of British Columbia. Partnering with colleagues, volunteers, and teens across the region's Jewish communal hubs, this role leads the region through its next evolution and works in close partnership with the JCC of Greater Vancouver on year-round teen engagement.

Responsibilities: • Mentor and support teen leaders in developing strong, vibrant, teen-led BBYO chapters throughout British Columbia • Attend weekly Regional Board meetings and provide coaching and guidance to teen leadership • Plan, coordinate, and execute regional programs, chapter events, conventions, leadership trainings, overnight programs, and recruitment events • Manage event logistics including budgets, registration systems, attendance, payments, vendors, venues, and materials • Recruit, train, and support volunteer Advisors across British Columbia • Manage regional budgets, membership tracking, reports, and organizational metrics; support fundraising and donor engagement • Build relationships with Jewish schools, synagogues, the JCC, and community organizations

Qualifications: • Passion for working with teens and supporting youth development • 1–3 years working with teens, youth programs, community organizations, or nonprofits preferred • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills • Comfortable managing budgets, administrative systems, and operational responsibilities • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout British Columbia • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours

Attendance is required at BBYO summer leadership experiences, Canadian Staff Conference, International Staff Conference, and International Convention each February.
