Mem Global is looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and motivated Staff Accountant to join the finance team. Working closely with the Senior Staff Accountant and Controller, this role maintains financial records, prepares routine accounting transactions, supports month-end close activities, and contributes to efficient, well-documented accounting operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning an accounting career — or looking to transition into accounting — who wants broad, hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, vendor management, financial systems, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely using Bill.com and Sage Intacct • Prepare ACH, check, and wire payments; support domestic and international payment processes • Create and maintain vendor records across multiple accounting and banking systems, and coordinate vendor onboarding • Assist with accounts receivable, including customer billing, invoices, statements, and related schedules • Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations and supporting schedules • Review employee expense reports and corporate card transactions for coding accuracy and policy compliance • Support annual 1099 preparation and vendor maintenance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics; other analytical backgrounds welcome • At least three years of full-time professional work experience • Prior experience with accounting or ERP software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or NetSuite preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Salary: $60,000 to $68,000. Benefits include health, vision, dental, and mental health coverage; 15 days PTO plus 5 Personal WellBeing Days and up to 7 floating holidays; 401(k) with 100% match on the first 3% plus 50% on the 4th; paid parental leave; a quarterly paid day of service; and a $750 annual professional development fund.
Note: Hybrid schedule with the option to work remotely 2 days per week, with Wednesday as a shared in-office day.
