Job Description

Mem Global is where Jewish young adults in their 20s and early 30s come to connect, explore, and create meaningful Jewish experiences with their peers, supporting thousands of peer-driven gatherings across 25+ countries each year.

Mem Global is looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and motivated Staff Accountant to join the finance team. Working closely with the Senior Staff Accountant and Controller, this role maintains financial records, prepares routine accounting transactions, supports month-end close activities, and contributes to efficient, well-documented accounting operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning an accounting career — or looking to transition into accounting — who wants broad, hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, vendor management, financial systems, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely using Bill.com and Sage Intacct • Prepare ACH, check, and wire payments; support domestic and international payment processes • Create and maintain vendor records across multiple accounting and banking systems, and coordinate vendor onboarding • Assist with accounts receivable, including customer billing, invoices, statements, and related schedules • Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations and supporting schedules • Review employee expense reports and corporate card transactions for coding accuracy and policy compliance • Support annual 1099 preparation and vendor maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics; other analytical backgrounds welcome • At least three years of full-time professional work experience • Prior experience with accounting or ERP software such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or NetSuite preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Salary: $60,000 to $68,000. Benefits include health, vision, dental, and mental health coverage; 15 days PTO plus 5 Personal WellBeing Days and up to 7 floating holidays; 401(k) with 100% match on the first 3% plus 50% on the 4th; paid parental leave; a quarterly paid day of service; and a $750 annual professional development fund.

Note: Hybrid schedule with the option to work remotely 2 days per week, with Wednesday as a shared in-office day.
