The Sari Isdaner Early Childhood Center, located at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, is an award-winning provider of early childhood education in South Jersey for over 50 years, serving ages 6 weeks through 6 years. We are hiring Assistant Teachers to assist the Head Teacher with all areas of the classroom's needs and to create a safe, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities: • Help administer curriculum and keep the classroom attractive and in good order • Ensure lunch and snack needs are accommodated and interact positively with children • Maintain daily journal record keeping via Tadpoles and interact daily with parents • Attend staff meetings and professional development; must be able to lift children up to 40 pounds
Qualifications: • High school graduate; at least two years of college preferred • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
Salary: $17.00 per hour (range $17.00–$20.00). Hours are Monday–Friday (flexibility a plus).
