As a Chapter Specialist, you'll work closely with chapters in the Andover/Merrimack Valley area of BBYO's New England Region to enhance their programming, engagement and overall impact for Jewish teens. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, cultivate relationships with diverse communities and contribute to the growth and success of BBYO chapters.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with teens (grades 8-12) to create impactful, fun and dynamic programming • Coach teens on how to run their chapters and support them in building out chapter calendars • Be present at chapter events and meetings • Keep chapters up to date on movement initiatives • Work with teens to attract and retain members to build and grow chapters • Oversee chapter attendance data including event registration forms • Facilitate effective communication among chapters and with parents and community members • Meet monthly with a cohort of other chapter specialists
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 3 years removed from high school • Must live within or close to the region • A creative and responsible self-starter comfortable taking initiative and collaborating with teens • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to transport self to and from chapter or regional events
Time Commitment: 8-12 hours a week (will vary), some nights and weekends required, August 2026 - June 2027.
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour.
