BBYO is looking for a passionate Senior Regional Director to join its Wisconsin Region team. The Senior Regional Director grows membership, trains regional and chapter teen leaders, deepens community support for BBYO, and leads organization-wide initiatives that produce meaningful Jewish experiences for teens.
Responsibilities:
• Manage local staff and teens to implement a calendar of impactful, high-quality programs
• Mentor teens and provide leadership training throughout the school year
• Build a robust member recruitment process that expands the pipeline of prospects
• Recruit and train a team of volunteer advisors
• Coordinate large-scale regional conventions and community-wide events
• Manage and balance a major programmatic budget and contracts
• Cultivate relationships with parents, alumni, and community partners; assist with fundraising across multiple communities
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of work experience; bachelor's degree or higher
• Management experience preferred; experience with youth or teens required
• Must reside in the Milwaukee, WI area
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the region and staff a summer leadership program for 2-3 weeks each summer
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including some nights and weekends
Salary: $70,000-$80,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus.
