Touro University seeks an IT Support Technician to provide on-premises and remote support for instructional technologies, computer labs, libraries, classrooms, and offices at its Long Island campus in Central Islip.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff for hardware, software, networking, classroom technology, and AV systems
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment in classrooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces; record, edit, and post events
• Log, monitor, and track requests in ServiceNow; maintain inventory records for hardware, software, and supplies
• Manage access control and ID card systems (Genea) and the LI Campus Zoom phone system
• Support high-stakes examination periods, including exam recording and ExamSoft/LockDown Browser assistance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or at least two years of related education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service orientation; ability to travel to other Touro NY campuses as needed
Salary & Benefits:
