The Ottawa Jewish Community School seeks a caring, collaborative Educational Assistant to join its Kindergarten team for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of its youngest learners.
Responsibilities: • Support students in classroom learning, routines, and transitions • Provide individualized support including IEP accommodations and teacher-directed strategies • Foster social-emotional development; supervise nutrition breaks, outdoor play, and transitions • Support a student with identified medical needs per school protocols
Ideal candidate: experience with young children (Kindergarten/Primary preferred); strong interpersonal skills; calm, patient, nurturing approach. EA certification, ECE, or CYW training an asset; French/Hebrew an asset; satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check.
