At BBYO, we're motivated by our mission, inspiring us to reimagine work to make it fun, flexible, and fulfilling. BBYO is looking for a passionate Chapter Specialist to work closely with chapters in Baltimore County to enhance their programming, engagement, and overall impact for Jewish teens.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with teens in grades 8–12 to create impactful, fun, and dynamic programming • Coach teens on recruitment and retention strategies that build and grow their chapters • Support teens in building and executing chapter calendars with a consistent, sustainable programming cadence • Be present at chapter events and meetings, providing guidance, supervision, and mentorship as the adult in the room • Ensure chapter participation in region-wide and organization-wide initiatives • Track and analyze chapter data, including attendance, engagement, and membership trends • Build relationships and maintain communication with members, parents, and community partners
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 3 years removed from high school • Must live within or close to Baltimore County; chapters program on average 2–4x a month • Ability to transport self to and from chapter or regional events • Creative and responsible self-starter comfortable taking initiative and collaborating with teens • BBYO or similar youth/Jewish organization background preferred but not required • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
Pay: $16.00 per hour.
Hours: 5–7 hours a week, August 2026 – June 2027. Some nights and weekends required. Must be available for Baltimore Council Kickoff (8/29), NRE Regional Convention (12/18–12/20), and Baltimore Council Convention (4/2–4/4).
