As part of a dynamic, highly skilled team of psychotherapists recognized for excellence in trauma-informed, person-centered care, this Counselor position delivers outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals across diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs • Perform psychotherapy sessions with assigned clients and groups • Maintain accurate, timely client documentation in electronic health records • Complete required assessment tools and progress notes in compliance with internal and funding source requirements • Demonstrate cultural competency and awareness of socio-economic issues
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in psychology, social work or a related field • Florida LMHC or LCSW or Registered Intern preferred; Qualified Supervisor Certification preferred • Valid Florida driver's license, ability to respond outside regular hours, and ability to pass a criminal background check • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Competence in Medicaid/Medicare standards of care, HIPAA compliance and electronic health record systems
