The JCC and Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven seeks a creative Young Family Engagement Coordinator to build Jewish community for families with children in the New Haven and Shoreline area.
Responsibilities: • Plan, reflect on, and evaluate family engagement initiatives and family-forward events • Identify, welcome, connect, and engage families raising Jewish children; oversee Parent Connectors • Offer high-quality, low-barrier, inclusive Jewish experiences and connect families to community organizations • Manage the PJ Library database, communications, budget, reporting, and social media
Qualifications: ability to build relationships across diverse groups; excellent communication and organizational skills; development/programming experience preferred; understanding of the greater Jewish community.
Full-time. Salary: $50,000–$60,000 depending on experience, plus complimentary JCC membership and paid Jewish holidays.
